AI-Assisted Immersive Discovery of Viability

Serhii Hostiunin

immersive discovery of viability as a new direction in the development of intelligent scientific environments within the framework of Vitology. The proposed approach combines immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, digital twins, interactive simulation, multidimensional data analysis, and collaborative scientific inquiry to support the detection of hidden regularities, indicators, relationships, and developmental trajectories of viability in complex systems. Unlike conventional analytical platforms, immersive discovery environments allow researchers to interact directly with multidimensional representations of system states, observe dynamic changes, compare alternative scenarios, and receive intelligent computational support during the process of scientific interpretation. Artificial intelligence assists in pattern recognition, anomaly detection, hypothesis generation, model refinement, and the identification of potentially viable regions within the Space of Harmony. The paper examines the conceptual foundations, architecture, analytical mechanisms, and research applications of AI-assisted immersive discovery. Particular attention is given to the collaboration between human scientific judgment and artificial intelligence, the role of digital twins and real-time simulations, and the need for transparency, verification, ethical responsibility, and human control. It is argued that AI-assisted immersive discovery may become an important component of future interdisciplinary research infrastructures, enabling scientists to investigate, predict, and enhance the viability of natural, biological, ecological, social, organizational, technological, and artificial systems. Keywords Vitology; viability; AI-assisted discovery; immersive discovery; artificial intelligence; immersive technologies; Space of Harmony; digital twins; pattern recognition; anomaly detection; hypothesis generation; interactive simulation; multidimensional visualization; intelligent scientific environments; interdisciplinary research.
